Boulware Shooting Society

A Shooting Society Devoted to Old World Traditions of

British Driven Pheasant Shoots

Founded in 1997 in Coordination with the Newtown Hunt Club

Located in King & Queen County, Virginia

The Boulware Shooting Society is a part of Newtown Hunt Club, which is a licensed private shooting preserve consisting of over 300 acres of fields, woodland and swamp dedicated strictly to wildlife management.  It has been planted in warm season grasses, corn, wheat, sunflower and sorghum to encourage all varieties of game including dove, quail, turkey, pheasant and rabbit.

The shooting layout consists of two rustic courses, one running through woods, and the other traversing an open field.  They have been designed emphasizing both safety and natural setting and along the lines of an English shoot.
